Tuesday Night Training with Seafair

New & Improved for 2010!

Seafair & Raise the Bar Triathlon Training will be teaming up to produce a set of high-energy training sessions before the BRI Triathlon. On 6 Tuesday evenings at Seward Park, athletes of EVERY ABILITY will be grouped according to speed and participate in a Swim/Run workout. Buoys positioned at set distances will create the perfect training ground for a swim workout that combines the best aspects of pool training with the race-day environment of the open water. After the swim, athletes will do a run workout on the Seafair run course that will vary from week to week and include intervals, hill repeats, tempo runs, timed runs, etc. RTB coaches will provide coaching, motivation, and encouragement as they train alongside the athletes. Purchase a six-workout pass for $150 or four-workout pass for $120. (All six-week and four-week training programs include a triathlon entry as well.)

2 FREE Sunday group rides will take place from Seward Park on 6/13 and 6/27 that will provide race practice with athletes of similar pace and instruction available for beginners.

Beginners or near-beginners can supplement their training with a free “Triathlon Basics” lecture & clinic on May 6 at Center Cycle in Renton.

Event Dates: June 8, June 15, June 22, June 29, July 6, July 13.
